I am the leader of my Contemporary Church group. You are my absolute favor artist and I love to sing your songs. I am looking for sheet music for "My evening Prayer" Where can I find it? I have friends of the family that would love this song at their 50th Wedding anniversary service. |
Peter Mallett (Kalamazoo)
You are lovely in all ways. Please come visit Kalamazoo sometime soon. It's a great town and a very strong Diocese. We would be blessed to have you in town. PEACE |
Leah Knippel (Dallas, TX)
Sarah,
I found you through Amy Grant's recorded version of your song, "Better than an Hallelujah"--a song I learned to play voraciously. It is beyond beautiful in its truth and simplicity. Thank you for it. I was delighted looking at your website to see that you are Catholic (as I have just married into Catholicism--my husband is a devout cradle Catholic). Coming from the protestant world I have to say it is so refreshing to read your thoughts and find someone who is obviously in my tribe and who I can relate to. Have you every played for fundraising events? I am the founder and director of an org that helps victims of trafficking. Check out our website if you get a chance: www.freedomstones.ws
Thanks for bringing God's beauty through song--I have endured some pretty bad music lately at mass (reminiscent of Barney the purple dinousaur music) so now I have hope that the church is not void of something organic and natural sounding. It would be awesome to know you. Blessings your way. |
Kelly Moore (Napa, CA)
I saw both you and Matt Maher when I went with my daughter to NCYC Houston...I have been so excited to hear Matt on KLOVE. And NOW I have found out my Favorite song, better than a Hallelujah Cry was co-written by you. I am so excited to continue to be reminded the Catholic artists can be a blessing to all Christians. Some would be shocked to know that Catholics are writing this music. I continue to pray for a re-union of the christian church and its people. You are wonderful!!! |
Ogonna (Lagos, Nigeria)
I have a copy of Saintsong....and i so love it. I think reflection and renew are about the two most beautiful songs i've ever heard and i cant get over the fact that all those lovely songs on the CD are from the saints of the church. I pray that God will bless you abundantly and that you will never tire in loving and serving Him. Keep up the good work, Sarah! |
Jerry DiStefano (Saugus)

Hello Sarah
I have recently become a big fan...I sing in a church choir and was asked to perform your "Beautiful Mother" for mother's day as communion meditation....I know that I will in no way match your rendering and that this is probably complete copyright infringement, but I was wondering if there was anyway I could get help finding the piano sheet music for it...I've looked everywhere!
May god continue to bless you with unlimited talent
your friend in faith,

Hello Sarah I saw you years ago in Louisianna at a Charasmatic Convention and fell in love with your music. Just wondering why you don't have your self titled album that I bought back then up here. I love the song when I fall ( may have the title wrong) and the one about the little lamb that strayed from the flock. That Cd was amazing and I have since lost it. Just wanted to show my love for your music. |

Hi Sarah:
You are quickly becoming my favorite Christian singer/songwriter and you are already (far and away) my favorite among Catholic Christian artists. Your songs are insightful and well constructed musically - so much so that I'm guessing you must have been a music major. Anyway, no two songs sound alike and the three CD's that I have; "Obvious", "Goodbye Jane" and "Into these Rooms," are all unique in their own way.
I should tell you that I am 51 and your music sounds great to me. I even bought "Obvious" for a friend at my Parish (Transfiguration in Marietta, GA). So since I have told you where we are geographically I hope that you will be coming down this way in the near future - my wife and I and a bunch of our friends would love to see you.
Merry Christmas to you and your family and a Happy New Year.
Yours in Christ,
Lew |

Dear Sarah, Congratulations for all you''re doing w/ your creative talents-very inspiring! I saw you a couple years ago at the NPM "Daughters of God" concert and have a question about your song of the same title. Is it available anywhere in printed music? A lead sheet would be perfect. I''m performing at a conference at Boston College next month titled "The Church Women Want," and we''d like to feature your song. I can''t locate the sheet music and just wondered if it''s available anywhere for us to purchase? Thanks! Peace, Anne Marie David |

Hi Sarah,
This thanks is much overdue. I attended your Daughters of God mission at St. Andrew Church, Milford, OH in March 2006. You are AWESOME! You are everything Father Rob Waller said you would be & MORE. I gave the mission as a Valentine gift to my mother and my friend, Molly, did the same for her mother, Sally. Thanks for sharing your faith, wisdom and hope. I know that God loves you and so do I.
Best Regards,
Carol

Dear Sarah:
It was so wonderful to see and hear you (and Tom) perform on Saturday, 9/10/05 at St. Paul's Parish, Westerville, Ohio - After Women's Retreat Concert. It opted for your prayerful music over the Ohio State - Texas football game and I certainly made the right choice. I will be making a Men's Retreat Week-end Cum Christo next week-end and I will be bringing along your CDs. God Bless and hope to see you again soon.

Hi Sarah,
I love to try new artist. I was at a Cathechist conference, in Chicago area, and was looking at various CDs. There were several I was interested in, unfortunately can't but 'em all. The Spirit put it in my heart to buy yours -- Obvious. Can't get enuff of your music. On Goodbye Jane, Springfield USA is one of my favs. I am overjoyed to see you'll be in Chicago in Feb 06 and St. Charles soon thereafter. I'm putting them into my calendar right away.
Blessings to you and yours.

You have a very beautiful voice. We saw you at Seton Parish. |
Kayra (Hazlehurst, Mississippi)
I came across an article about your music in AmericanCatholic.org. I decided to buy "Into these rooms" and Daughter's of God "songs from the heart". They are both amazing, but my favorite is Into these rooms. I keep it in my office and play it all the time, it helps me get through the day and allows me to pray without having to leave my office. I have given copies to my sisters, and I also gave a copy to a new Catholic mom, whom I sponsored during RCIA. She loved it too!. You come across in your music, thank you for being such an inspiration to other Catholic moms and women. |
Bob (Neenah, WI)
Heard you on Relevant Radio this morning, also. What a beautiful voice you have! Thank you for sharing your talent. |

Thank you for taking the gift God has given to you and using it to praise Him! God Bless! |

Sarah...Thank you for reminding me that Job never gave up and that Jeremiah could have been 100 years old and he still was young! I know you'll understand what that means coming from me. God gave you to us as a vessel of his love...your voice a songbird, to bring us to prayer. Thanks.

Thanks for being so good to my kids. They loved meeting with you and even though is been a year since they were there, they still talk about you and their experiences. |

I have always struggled with finding just the right voice for singing my faith and joy... and Sarah Hart's music has been an inspiration to me. Not only do I pray more, but I feel like I pray better. The glimpses into her life and faith have helped me realize that we are all human, all struggling at times... and that we all have beautiful songs to share. |

See you in September. |
Donna Peterson (Maple City, MI)
Sarah, With all the people you come in contact with you probably won't remember me but at the Daughters of God performance at the 2003 NPM convention in Cincinatti, I was the person in the front row who came unglued sobbing during "One Mother to Another". I spoke to you after the concert and had explained that I was waiting to hear from the daughter I had given up for adoption 22 years earlier. In October that year I met my daughter and she is now a constant and wonderful part of my life. Thank you for your music thank you for that memory. It is something that will remain with me always. |
Kathy Rider (Germantown)

I heard your wonderful interview on the way home (WAIT-820AM Chicago :^) it was a replay from earlier this year) on the radio...and had a chance to listen to some truly great Catholic Christian Music. Being a Saxophonist & Cantor at my parish, I have served in our Gospel Choir at the later Mass, but prefer the peaceful existence of singing and rejoicing with our senior church members at the earlier Sunday service. No choice, I work overnight, so I can get there by 8:00AM! :^) God Bless You...I plan to check out your CD, and who knows? Maybe I'll get a reply from you someday! :^) God Love You! |

Heard you on Morning Air today. You have a great sound. Glad to know that there are some Catholic based music to be found. Didn't know. I look forward to hearing more from you. |

Hi Sarah,
I heard your interview this morning on Morning Air, and heard your music as well. I am a vocalist and believe the Lord is calling me to share my gift on a larger scale. I've always felt concerned about how to do this without taking too much time away from my little boy and my daughter, they are 5 and 11 respectively. I was surprised to hear that you are sharing your musical gift and balancing your vocation as a mom as well. Knowing that it can work and is working for other moms who are called to share their music. I am somewhat like Thomas--wanting the Lord to show me that balancing music and family can work and work well--and a little like Peter, asking the Lord to bid me to come out of the secure place of the boat onto the less certain arena of the water. Thanks for your ministry!

I heard your interview on Relevant Radio and was very touch by your song about St. Joseph from Mary's perspective. I plan to now order the CD. |

I will make an effort to bring my two daughters and two grand daughters to one of your concerts soon. Our prayers are with you on your journey. |

I enjoyed your conversation with Sean on Morning Air this morning. I've been a music director in the church for many, many years now and have had the privelege of experiencing Catholic liturgical music develop since the mid 70s. Thank you for your awesome music! God bless you and your ministry. |
Kathleen (Wisconsin)
Sarah, I heard your interview on Relevant Radio's Morning Air on my way home from Mass this morning! What an inspiration you are. Your song, "His Name is Joseph," is beautiful! I have a special devotion to St. Joseph - what a great idea for a song! |

It is great that Catholic music is growing! Thank you for all the hard work that you do for the Lord. My house is praying for all Catholic singers, that they will stay faithful to the Church, spread the faith to everyone who enjoys a good song and has a deep love for our Lord. Keep spreading the Good News!
God Bless you!

"Into these Rooms" is my favorite of Sarah's CD's yet! I loved the variety of music and emotion that is generated by each and every track. The melody and harmony are beautiful. Sarah's instrumental work is crisp and flawless. The lyrics are true and palpable. Sarah's voice expresses how deeply she believes in what she is saying and brings the listener there too. I know it reaffirmed my faith for me. Listening to the album inspired a true peace in my soul that can only be experienced in the presence of God. Thank you Sarah! |
Ken Ebacher
Wow! Sarah, with your newest CDs, again, as I've told you before, you've hit another home run WAY out of the stadium! Thank you and God bless you! |

Maria (Medford, MA)
My husband gave me Into These Rooms as a Christmas gift and I absolutely love it; and so do my kids!
A year and a half ago my mother died. Hers was a body racked with everything, save cancer. She suffered much and when she died my 7 brothers and sisters and I thought "she is finally free." Each time I listen to "Go In Peace" glad tears come to my eyes. Pugatory may be in store for her but as the song says "there is beautiful mercy in the arms of the Holy One." Such a beautiful prayer.Thank you for sharing your gift. |
Joseph Malagisi
Hi Sarah:
I see my daughter Janie Malagisi (one of the "Threeve" girls) was one step ahead of me in signing your guest book. I guess that's teenagers for you - hard to keep up with. Anyway, once again, the St. Joseph's Concert in Circleville, OH (Dec/2004) is a great memory. I hope we can have you back in our area in 2005 to visit and play in Dublin, OH where we live. You can visit your Alma Mater - OSU and it's not too far from Lancaster.
Kind Regards,
Joseph Malagisi |
