you that, at long last, the new recording is here!! “Road To Ohio” will
officially release and be available on May 20, 2008. This is a
long-dreamed-of-for-me folk/Appalachian recording, with 12 all new, self-penned
songs. There are a few ways to get the recording; the best way is to buy the CD
through our site (click here). We are offering it right now for only $12.00.
Wow, what? Seriously! You can also download individual songs or the whole
project from iTunes, or purchase it through the Centricity Music web store (www.centricitymusic.com).
This project was such a fun and fulfilling one to make; and I hope you enjoy the
“stuff of life” writing in the songs. Major thanks to Mitch Dane at Sputnik
Sound, who went above and beyond for recording of the project.
We are planning a CD
release party for “Road To Ohio”, which will take place on August 16th @ 6:30pm, at
the beautiful Ohio Glass Museum (www.ohioglassmuseum.org)
in Lancaster, Ohio. Tickets will be available for $5.00 each, for which you
will enjoy a great evening of listening, eating, and mingling, as well as a tour
of the museum, including the incredible Erickson Glass exhibit (runs until

I have another recording coming out this year too! (Whew, I’m beat.)
This recording, “Saint Song”, is a project of 12 contemporary songs based on the
writings of several Saints and some of the brightest Christian mystical
thinkers, dating as far back as the 3rd century (but we, um,
modernized them a bit!). We will also have that recording available here, as
well as through Spirit and Song (www.spiritandsong.com),
sometime in August; producer Jeff Thomas and I are working our way through all
the vocals right now.

I am continuing
to write and travel quite a bit; we hope to have the “songwriting” section of
the site up soon (hey, these things take time!) so you can see where songs are
landing, and support the artists who are landing them. As always, I look forward
in my travels to seeing many of you this summer.
Speaking of summer…school is almost out! Yay! I have lots of plans for
bug hunts (my favorite), lemonade stands and trips to the swimming pool
with my kids. Hope your summer will be as fulfilling!
